For me, this print stands as a reminder, no matter how busy life is, of the importance of friendship and of staying in touch with those special people in our lives, the people with whom we have shared history and who just 'get' us!\n\nSketches made, photographs studied and composition decided upon, I transferred my design onto a traditional hessian backed lino which I then hand cut and burnished onto a beautiful Japanese 'Hosho' paper.\n\nThe paper measures 39.5cm x 28cm, with the printed image itself measuring approx. 30.5cm x 20cm.\n\nEach of this small edition of just 5 is printed in a lovely raw umber oil-based ink with the added sparkle of tiny touches of real gold and silver leaf.  Each print is numbered, titled and signed and having been printed by hand, slight variations from print to print will occur; such is the beauty of a unique, hand-crafted piece.\n\nYour print will be posted to you wrapped in tissue and rolled within a cardboard tube. On its arrival, remove the print from the tube and allow it time to unfurl.
