This arrangement emphasises the elements’ numerical patterns and also mimics the atomic model of concentric circular electron shells which ‘fill up’ with electrons as elements increase in mass. I hope that science-lovers contemplate these patterns afresh and enjoy solving the logic of some of my typographic decisions. \r\nIt was printed on an Albion Press from 1863 using metal and wood type and hand-inked between each impression using 9 colours of ink on acid-free 220gsm Seawhite Cartridge paper. \r\n\r\nGRADE B versions of this print have printed slightly unevenly.
