{"url":"https://folksy.com/items/8585139-sunset-dove-stained-glass-art-picture-suncatcher-handmade-","title":"Sunset Dove Stained Glass Art Picture Suncatcher Handmade ","price":35.0,"currency_code":"GBP","provider_name":"Folksy","description":"This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.\r\n\r\nI designed this in 2014 and I think it is quite stunning and very special.\r\n\r\nIt is a striking 'picture' of a bright white dove against a sunset background.\r\n\r\nThe picture is framed in clear glass with a gentle texture for good effect and then with a strengthening border of twisted wire.\r\n\r\nThe rainbow rays are made from the 7 different shades of sunset coloured glass with lots of streaks for movement. This contrasts quite dramatically with the whiteness of the dove which is cut from streaky white glass. .\r\n\r\nThis is beautifully bright and cheerful and casts lovely colours when it hangs in the light  of a window. \r\n\r\nIt measures 16cm x 14cm and hangs from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached at either side of the top.\r\n\r\nMy pieces are all unique. I use different shades and textures of glass to ensure that everything I make, even when to the same pattern, is different.\r\n\r\nThe last photo ishows this suncatcher with a rainbow option also for sale as a separate listing.
