Hydrangea flowers are just perfect subjects for Cyanotype prints … don’t you think they look like little butterflies.\r\n\r\nCyanotype printing is a wonderful form of alternative photography, where you use the sun’s UV rays to develop the print. I always use flowers as the subjects for my prints, and sometimes I add some extra ingredients … for this journal, I used salt in the wet cyanotype developing process, because this gives a wonderful crystalising effect.
