I always use flowers as the subjects for my prints, and sometimes I add some extra ingredients … for this journal, I used salt in the wet cyanotype developing process, because this gives a wonderful crystalising effect.\r\n\r\nCyanotype printing is an Eco-friendly art form.\r\n\r\nThe subjects for my artwork are wildflowers or flowers from my garden, which Nature produces for me in abundance!\r\n\r\nAnd I use the sun to develop the prints … as an energy source, you can’t get more sustainable than that!\r\n\r\nThe cartridge paper for the pages is recycled, mostly from old paper cups, and it’s all hand torn or cut to size. The paper is 140gsm and because it is recycled, it has a slight texture, which makes it perfect for journaling or sketching.
