The scene has been inspired by my trips to Campsie Glen when I stayed in Glasgow. One of my favourite spots was the waterfall where the dappled light would reflect off the rocks.  I have used a set of palette knives and brushes to build up texture to indicate the dense foliage and mass of trees around the water. \r\n\r\nSome key features of this painting include:\r\n\r\n- This is an original, one-off, acrylic painting on sealed stretched canvas.\r\n\r\n- It has a protective coating and two layers of varnish.\r\n\r\n- I have painted the sides to add interest and it is ready to hang. Should you wish, the hanging fittings can be removed for framing.\r\n\r\n- I have called this painting ‘On The Rocks At Campsie Glen.’\r\n\r\n- Total size is 20 x 16 x 0.8 inches.\r\n\r\n- It is signed at the back.\r\n\r\n- Also included is a note of authentication from me, Susan Betty.\r\n\r\n- Shipping across the U.K. is included.\r\n\r\nThis landscape will be posted by first class post. The painting will be covered with glassine paper before it is carefully encased in bubble wrap (or equivalent).
