The books secure with a coordinating button or toggle and a ribbon loop. The covers have a layer of interfacing to give some body.  They measure approx 3x4.5 inches, 8x11cm when closed.\r\nThe matching pincushion measures 3x3x1.5 ins, 8x8x4 cm and has a handy ribbon handle.
