The frame is made bespoke from reclaimed pine so as to fit a good portion of sheet number 28 in the Bartholomew map series. These maps, now sadly no more, are far more colourful and decorative than their Ordnance Survey equivalents. Sheet 28 is broadly titled Merseyside which is, I suppose, strictly true as the Mersey begins in Stockport. Sincere apologies to the citizens of Warrington and Wigan for placing the mirror over your patch, but the missing towns are glued to the back.
