I know that many gardeners dislike their capacity to seed everywhere, but they are so beautiful and such important plants for insects - especially bees at the start of each year. I will always leave some in my garden.\r\n\r\nThe seed heads are beautiful, so fragile with the nostalgia of lost days of childhood - I mean, who didn't 'tell the time' by blowing the seeds away? Turns out the seed heads take a lot of work to get right, I lost count of the the layers I painted to give them that fluffiness. The painting took way longer than you'd think, because of the seedheads!\r\n\r\nIt has been professionally mounted and framed using archive quality ivory mountboard and a simple solid oak frame.\r\n\r\nMaterials:\r\nA4 sheet Khadi handmade 100% cotton rag paper\r\nA Gallo handmade professional \u0026 Jackman's handmade watercolours\r\nFaber-Castell, Albrecht Dürer watercolour pencils\r\nLiquitex Professional Acrylic Ink\r\n\r\nAcid-free mount board\r\nSolid oak, glass fronted frame.\r\nDimensions:\r\nA4 paper 297 x 210mm / 8.3\" x 11.7\"  approx.\r\nFrame exterior dimensions: 380 x 290 x 20mm / 15\" x 11.5\" x .75\"\r\n\r\nPLEASE NOTE: my post days are Monday and Thursday.\r\nI would be happy for a customer to collect this item directly from me if that would be an easy thing to do, either from my base in Halifax or at any event I am running a stall at (mostly in Yorkshire).
