A great gift for anyone who is happiest barefoot on the sand.\r\n\r\nThis is a medium sized dish from my 'Seaweed' collection of seaglass style kiln-formed glass dishes. The colour is a vivid turquoise blue with a green seaweed motif. The bowl has an organic shape with smooth rounded edges and a rounded base and a satisfyingly weighty feel to it. And a lovely tactile satin finish to the glass surface (just like sea glass) means you won't be able to resist stroking it!\r\n\r\nSIZE: 17cm x 15cm x 3.5cm H\r\n\r\nCARE: Not intended for food use. Handwash only.\r\n\r\nPROCESS: Handmade by me, Helen Smith, in my studio on the Wirral peninsula. I create my bowls by fusing together multiple layers of glass in my kiln where they stretch and flow ensuring that no one bowl is the same as any other. I then sandblast the glass before firing it in the kiln again to obtain the final form and tactile satin finish.
