Victorian children were fascinated by the marbles inside. After finishing the drink, they would often smash the bottle to retrieve the marble. These were considered precious treasures, and once freed, were used to play traditional games like marbles.\r\nTheir aqua colour and frosted appearance made them especially appealing—made even more beautiful after years of tumbling in the sea, like this one.\r\nThe pendant hangs from an 18-inch chunky solid sterling silver belcher chain and fastens with a feature clasp for added character and ease of wear. The marble is wrapped in fine silver.
