Since then, I have always wanted to try and create a print of a group of them in flight, showing off their magical patterns and colours. I guess it is a mini-murmuration!\r\n\r\nMetallic grey, blue, pink and yellow System 3 inks on white Seawhite 300gsm acid-free paper. I used transparent inks for the colour areas, creating extra colours by overlaying them. The grey ink also has some silver mixed in, giving it a metallic look.\r\n\r\nFrom an edition of 24, signed, titled and numbered. I created the image initially as a linocut print, and then transferred the image to a silk-screen to hand-print the edition.\r\n\r\nHand-printed by myself in Sheffield, UK.
