Each appendage is individually hand-carved from reclaimed mahogany, sanded, stained, polished and waxed, and firmly screwed and glued to a mahogany backplate. The backplates are all different sizes as I have had to cut around the many nail holes in the original timber, so please do check dimensions carefully.\nThis is the most problematic of the Choad series as I had two long pieces of mahogany left and thought I'd have a go at coat racks. One went to Tom and Abi as a house warming present, leaving this, Cock Rack 2. They are a bit thinner than choads - too thin would just look silly - but as you can see, the loop of a denim jacket just about fits. Still, if you don't see that as a problem by all means have at it!
