The white wool fibres have been felted using a barbed felting needle to bind the fibres together and sculpt the body shape. The wings have been cut from a piece of hand made flat felt.  The beak is made using silk clay and has been hand coloured to add the appropriate markings. Finally, small black beads have been added for the eyes.\r\n\r\nThe swan has been mounted on an oval wooden base covered with handmade blue felt overlaid with silk fibres to simulate water.\r\n\r\nThe ornament stands approximately 7.5 cm tall with the oval base measuring 6 x 10cm\r\n\r\nA perfect gift for bird lovers and ornothologists, gardeners and nature lovers.\r\n\r\nPlease note: this swan is intended as a piece of art/ornament, it is not a toy.
