Ceramic Tree of Life coasters","price":7.25,"currency_code":"GBP","provider_name":"Folksy","description":"These are my Spring and Autumn Tree of Life Coasters which I have added to Folksy's 'Perfectly Imperfect' event as I am making space in my Folksy shop to upload some new creations!\r\n\r\nThe Tree of Life is an ancient Celtic symbol of balance, harmony and rebirth. \r\n\r\nSize (approx): 9 cm diameter\r\n\r\nThese handcrafted ceramic coasters  have been created using the slab-work method and embossed with the Tree of Life before being shaped using a circular cookie cutter.  Once dried they have been bisque fired to 1000c, after a gentle sanding they have been hand painted with spring green, autumn orange and a red-brown glaze.  They have had a second stoneware firing in the kiln to 1220c.\r\n\r\nSelf-adhesive cork has been applied to the base to protect surface\r\n\r\nAll my ceramic creations have been individually handcrafted by me with love and care.
