The finish is achieved by sanding down with grades of sandpaper to a fine grit and sealed using Cellulose Sanding Sealer followed with three coats of Melamine Lacquer and finished with 3 coats of microcrystalline wax. The knot is a premium synthetic one which is packed with extra dense creamy white Cashmere synthetic hair to make an unusual 24mm diameter knot, as shown. \r\nEvery shaving brush is documented and individually numbered. We supply you with a document of authenticity, with your purchase. This shaving brush is SB11, which is pyrographed on the handle, as each piece we make is an original hand crafted item, shown with Shaving Stand SS12. \r\nSize of Holder 82mm high x 32mm diameter approximately.\r\nSize of Knot 60mm long x 24mm diameter approximately. Overall length of brush 142mm.\r\n\r\nThis shaving brush is made from organic, natural, solid wood and will distort if put near a heat source such as a radiator, it will also discolour if left in direct sunlight.
