{"url":"https://folksy.com/items/8453665-butterfly-picture-stained-glass-suncatcher-panel-handmade","title":"Butterfly Picture Stained Glass Suncatcher Panel Handmade","price":37.5,"currency_code":"GBP","provider_name":"Folksy","description":"This is a unique entirely hand-crafted stained glass picture which I designed and  made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.\r\n\r\nA brightly coloured Butterfly which I have captured resting among green leaves against a prettily textured iridescent blue background sky. \r\nA picture to bring summer into your room all year round.\r\n\r\nThe butterfly is a Strawberry Custard, a very rare variety indeed and not often spotted in these parts. \r\nIt is cut from different types and shades of red and amber glass then a contrasting bright yellow.\r\n\r\nThe picture is 13.5cm square and is framed with a twisted wire edging for strength and neatness,  It hangs from a silvery chain.\r\n\r\nIt comprises 28 individually cut pieces of glass which are fitted together like a jigsaw and soldered affer each piece has been edged in copper foil.  Everything I make is lovingly entirely handcrafted.\r\n\r\nThis piece would make a super and very individual present. \r\n\r\n It is absolutely unique. I never make two things exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass. \r\nThis suncatcher is especially in your face vivid.
