The necklace uses a wood toggle and a loop in the suede necklace, similar to a duffle coat. Initially the timbers were glued together with epoxy resin and the woods are laid as laminates, for the stability of the wood and the look of the pendant. The brown vegan friendly suede necklace is fastened with a recycled hardwood wood toggle. \r\nThe heart was designed by us and handmade in house. It was cut by hand using a fret saw and a drill to produce the pierced inner heart shaped then shaped with a chisel and sandpaper. Due to the size of the heart and the chisels I used this was a job that needed care and a delicate touch. \r\nMeasurements All sizes are approximate: Necklace Length 52cm (20.5 inches). \r\nPendant Height 4.8cm x 2.65cm width x 0.75cm depth. Weight: 5.65 grams \r\nThis necklace is made from organic, natural, solid wood and will distort if put in water or to near a heat source, they will discolour if left in direct sunlight. \r\nTo care for this item, feed the wood with wax or similar when required. The item you see here is the one you will receive and I have aimed to provide dimensions which are as accurate as possible.
