The pear is hung from a stalk of silver and green polyester cord that is spliced back on itself and then stitched with green whipping twine to ensure the splice does not slip. This gives the pear a chance to swing from it stalk on the branch. The tree is a piece of locally sourced eucalyptus with a branch, which has the bark worn away in places, this is mounted on an English Ash base. \r\nClock movement is a silver skeleton movement with black roman numerals and black hands, this requires an AAA battery. The dimensions are 316mm high x 295mm wide x 160mm deep, depending on the position of the fruit, it weighs 1.42kgs (3lb 3ozs). This clock is made from organic, natural, solid wood and will distort if put near a heat source such as a radiator, it will also discolour if left in direct sunlight.
