The competition was very stiff. All the other ballerinas were far more experienced but by adopting an attitude of polite intimidation she was eventually to win a place at the 'Hilda Braithwaite School of Advanced Ballet and Billiards'. The course lasted for 3 weeks and she left with a diploma and a bottle of meths. \r\n\r\nThis is an original A4 (210mm x 297mm) sized artwork drawn by myself. It is not a print. It is drawn on an off white heavyweight watercolour paper (I forget which make). It was done using fineliner pigment pens and acrylic paints. The artwork is horizontal.
