A black Parker style ballpoint refill is included and takes easily replaceable standard Parker style refills. To replace the ink, unscrew the metal bullet tip as shown in the pictures, remove the old ink refill ensuring the spring is retained. Place the spring into the pen body, then place the new ink refill.
