Through a process combining randomness with structure and using my own colourful monoprinted papers, I have created a design which fills the page with shape and colour and which will spark unique interpretations in each viewer.\r\n\r\nFollowing a monoprint process I used acrylic paints, mixed and layered, to create my source papers. These were cut into a variety of organic shapes to show the best combinations of colour and texture. Those were pasted on a white cartridge paper and outlined in black for emphasis. The collaged sheet was cut into squares, which were aligned and arranged in a pleasing grid layout on black acid-free card.\r\n\r\nThe picture is presented in a black A3 mount with the white inner to the mountboard giving an outline to the collage. It has a backing board and is protected in a clear cellophane bag.
