I have used a mixture of random and structured processes to create a coherent design filling the page with colour and shapes which can be interpreted by each viewer. \r\n\r\nTo create the collage papers I used a monoprint process with a number of layers of mixed acrylic paints, blended to give a variety of pleasing shades. I cut the papers into random shapes which were pasted onto cartridge paper to give a white background, and then used fineliner to outline them. This collaged sheet was cut into squares and these were arranged in a satisfying grid design on acid free black card. \r\n\r\nThe picture is presented in a black A3 mount with the white inner to the mountboard giving an outline to the collage. It has a backing board and is protected in a clear cellophane bag.
