A mixture of random and structured processes have created a coherent design which fills the page with shape and colour and can take the viewer’s own interpretation. \r\n\r\nI created the collage papers using a monoprint process with several layers of blue and green acrylic paints, blended to give a variety of shades. The textured papers were cut into random shapes and pasted onto a white cartridge paper, then outlined in black fineliner. This sheet was cut into squares which were arranged in a pleasing grid design on acid free black card. \r\n\r\nThe picture is presented in a black A3 mount with the white inner to the mountboard giving an outline to the collage. It has a backing board and is protected in a clear cellophane bag.
