The 'tree' is actually a root that was found along a stream after a flood had brought it to the surface. The affect of the water had created wonderful shapes within the root which convey a sense of movement.\r\n\r\nThe sky is painted fabric and the rest of the countryside is a mix of textiles and painted vintage dress-making pattern paper.\r\n\r\nEvery piece of art I make is unique and produced by hand, often reflecting the seasons.\r\n\r\nFramed in a white box frame and white mount to enhance the textures and depth.\r\n\r\nFramed size is 43.5 cm x 43.5cm x 3.5cm\r\n\r\nEverything I make is inspired by nature, and the result maybe abstract or literal. I don't repeat work to maintain a style, I feel it's more important to let the inspiration dictate the direction each piece takes.
