The lettering is coloured black with acrylic ink, which is non-toxic and water-based. Please wash carefully by hand and don't scrub the wording too hard. \r\n\r\nThis is a vintage and much-used spoon. It has some plate loss and tarnish. So here it is in the bargain bin for a fiver - a price well below my usual!
