{"url":"https://folksy.com/items/8349954-this-year-s-first-buttercups-sunprint001-","title":"This Year's First Buttercups (SunPrint001)","price":35.0,"currency_code":"GBP","provider_name":"Folksy","description":"This original Cyanotype print features wildflowers from the hedgerows around my lovely Wiltshire home ... sweet little buttercups, gathered while I was on my local walks.\r\n\r\nA Cyanotype Photogram is a photographic image made without a camera, by placing objects directly onto the surface of a light-sensitive material and then exposing it to light.\r\n\r\nIt is a very Eco-friendly art form.\r\n\r\nThe subjects for my artwork are wildflowers or flowers from my garden, which Nature produces for me in abundance!\r\n\r\nAnd I use the sun to develop the prints … as an energy source, you can’t get more sustainable than that!\r\n\r\nI used some Winsor \u0026 Newton Gold Ink during the Cyanotype development process to give it a touch of sparkle! I also used some raspberry red dye, just to add a little bit of pink.
