Bright green leaves at the bottom and three pastel 6 petal flowers growing out of the stem, at the top. The flowers are opaque glass in pastel shades. One is pink, another a pretty turquoise. The third is a blotchy blue.\r\nAt the centre of each flower is a little dichroic glass nugget, all different, which I fused in my kiln and they give an extra special shine to the flowers.\r\n\r\nThe flowers and leaves are very firmly attached to each other and the stem.  I have strengthened the lower leaves and the main stem with twisted wire as it is quite a fragile design.\r\n\r\nIt hangs from a silvery little chain which is securely fastened to the top with two soldered wire rings.\r\n\r\nThis looks simply stunning hanging against the wall which is what I designed it for and would make a lovely ornament for any room.\r\nIt also looks rather lovely in the window but the flowers are opaque glass so the light doesn't shine through them.\r\nIt is approximately 21cm hign and 18cm wide excluding the hanging chain.\r\n\r\nThis item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass. \r\n\r\nI can of course make this in other colour combinations.
