They are intended to be three-dimensional \"drawings\" - I don't use any pattern or wire structure beneath the papier-mâché. Each one is therefore unique and has its own character. This little paper giraffe with hand-painted spots and expression is exactly the decoration I would love to have on my Christmas mantel or in my home all year round. Ideal size for mantel or shelf decor. \r\n\r\nMy animals are completely solid once all the layers of glue and paint are dry - they are light, not heavy to hold. They are robust and do not break if dropped. \r\n\r\nI use artists quality acrylic paint on my models so they are colour fade resistant and water resistant, but please protect them from moisture and extremes of heat temperature. They are not weatherproof and are intended for indoor use only.
