Red diamonds design pattern instead of spots\r\n\r\nThis is for a single dog with diamonds pattern - also available as a set of 4\r\n\r\nI created the coat colours from recycled book pages and acrylic paint, depicting patterns from playing cards instead of spots black spades and clubs, red hearts and diamonds. \r\n\r\nThe words spade , club , heart and diamonds are written on the right hand sides of their necks in the place of a collar. This was originally not intended the first one I made I painted with diamonds pattern and only noticed afterwards that it said diamonds across its neck! \r\n\r\nDimensions: height approximately 9cm, length from nose to tail approximately 12cm\r\n\r\nMy little animal models are inspired by the stories I tell myself when I walk in the forest near my home and my childhood toys. I created these unusual, quirky sculptures because I wanted to decorate my bedroom with little woodland creatures, crooked wooden houses and miniature Canadian log cabins. I build these from recycled vintage book pages - I do not use any wire structure underneath, each sculpture is built entirely from the paper. I paint each animal carefully by hand. Each sculpture is unique in shape, appearance and character.\r\n\r\nMy animals are completely solid once all the layers of glue and paint are dry - they are light, not heavy to hold. They are robust and do not break if dropped.
