The Tree of Life is an ancient Celtic symbol of balance, harmony and rebirth.\r\n\r\nI am making space in my Folksy shop to upload some new creations which is why it has been included in the Folksy 'Perfectly Imperfect' event.\r\n\r\nThis handcrafted ceramic plaque has been created using the slab-work method and embossed with a Tree of Life design before it is cut into an oval shape.  Once dried it has been bisque fired to 1000C, after a gentle sanding it has been hand-painted with a forest green and brown underglaze with a clear glaze added. After glazing it has had a second firing in the kiln to 1160C.\r\n\r\nSize: 14 cm H x 9 cm W x 0.5 cm D (approx)\r\n\r\nAll my ceramic creations have been individually handcrafted by me with love and care.
