Ceramic plate with aqua-blue mandala ","price":14.0,"currency_code":"GBP","provider_name":"Folksy","description":"This is my Mandala embossed ceramic 7.5\" plate\r\n\r\nThe aqua-blue glaze on the Mandala symbol is a little uneven which is why it has been added to Folksy's 'Perfectly Imperfect' event.\r\n\r\nThis handcrafted ceramic plate has been created using the slab-work method and embossed with a mandala design before it is shaped over a pre-formed mould.  Once dried it has been bisque fired to 1000C, after a gentle sanding it has been hand-painted with an aqua-blue glaze with a clear glaze added. After glazing it has had a second firing in the kiln to 1160C.\r\n\r\nSize:  19 cm diameter x  2.5 cm\r\n\r\nAll my ceramic creations have been individually handcrafted by me with love and care.
