Ceramic trinket dish with mandala design","price":8.5,"currency_code":"GBP","provider_name":"Folksy","description":"This is my trinket dish embossed with a Mandala design, it can be used for jewellery, to keep your keys safe or as a soap dish.\r\n\r\nThis dish has turned out chunkier than my normal designs which is why it has been added to Folksy's 'Perfectly Imperfect' event \r\n\r\nSize: 11 cms diameter x 3 ms height (approx)\r\n\r\nThis handcrafted ceramic trinket dish has been created using the slab-work method and embossed with a Mandala stamp.   Using a circular cookie cutter it has  been placed into a mould to create its shape.  Once dried it has been bisque fired to 1000c, after a gentle sanding it has been hand painted with a sage green underglaze followed by a clear glaze.  It has had a second firing in the kiln to 1160c.\r\n\r\nSelf-adhesive cork has been applied to the base to protect surface\r\n\r\nAll my ceramic creations have been individually handcrafted by me with love and care.
