They are only suitable for small cups/mugs/glasses or as a base for incense cones.  To help make room in my shop I have added them to Folksy's 'Perfectly Imperfect' event.\r\n\r\nSize: 8 cm diameter\r\n\r\nThe Tree of Life is an ancient Celtic symbol of balance, harmony and rebirth.\r\n\r\nThese handcrafted ceramic coasters or incense cone burner bases have been created using the slab-work method and embossed with the Tree of Life before being shaped using a circular cookie cutter.  Once dried they have been bisque fired to 1000c, after a gentle sanding they have been hand painted with a forest green, red-brown glaze.  They have had a second stoneware firing in the kiln to 1260c.\r\n\r\nSelf-adhesive cork has been applied to the base to protect surface\r\n\r\nAll my ceramic creations have been individually handcrafted by me with love and care.
