It is layers of cured paint that builds up in spray booths at vehicle factories where the paint misses the panel it is meant for, as painting technology improves and becomes more accurate less fordite is formed. This material is from the Kenworth truck plant in Chillicothe, Ohio, I bought it from a guy who works there who harvested it when they were doing a clear out in 2018.
