Her gown is sculpted over a cone-shape mould.  Her wings are cut out and embossed with a feather design, these are secured by to her body using “slip”.    Her head is shaped using the pinch-pot method with her angelic hair added using sculpting tools.  A stippled design enhances her gown together with heart detail symbolising angelic love and a butterfly signifying change, transformation and joy!\r\n\r\nAfter the initial bisque firing to 1000c, she has been gently sanded to refine the finish before applying underglaze glaze to the butterfly and flower.  Three coats of clear glaze have been applied by brush before firing to a temperature of 1180c.   \r\n\r\nThe perfect gift or a treat for yourself.\r\n\r\nAn angel is not just for Christmas.\r\n\r\nSize: Wingspan 15 cm x Height 19 cm\r\n\r\nAll my ceramic creations have been individually handcrafted by me with love and care.
