A butterfly motif has been added.\r\n\r\nThe butterfly has been a symbol of transformation, hope and faith for thousands of years. The butterfly is also a symbol of rebirth, since it goes through so many life cycles -- from larva to caterpillar to chrysalis and finally to a beautiful, flying butterfly.\r\n\r\nThis handcrafted ceramic dish has been created using the slab-work method and embossed with a mandala design before shaping into a mould. Once dried it has been bisque fired to 1000C and hand-painted with coloured glazes and a clear glaze has been added.
