The design is appliqued onto a cotton backing which I've hand coloured and painted, and then machine embroidered before finally adding hand embroidered details. The front design then has a metal support glued to it before the whole thing is carefully hand stitched onto a felt backing panel to finish.\r\n\r\nMounted onto a 3cm wooden cube, this little tree ornament is perfect for your mantlepiece or as a gift for a green fingered or nature loving friend. The wooden blocks are lightly sanded but left with a rustic, unfinished look.\r\n\r\nDue to the handmade nature of this item, the shaping is asymmetrical and in some pieces, slightly wonky.  Each item I make is unique and these little ornaments are no exception.\r\n\r\nThis little ornament will be packed in a cellophane envelope to protect it, before being boxed for postage.
