They are slightly off round in shape; often called potato pearls. However this particular set is described as near-round. There is also a matching bracelet (item 8323053) and a pair of earrings (item 8320766) in my shop.\r\n\r\nEach pearl is 7.5mm to 8.5mm in diameter. They have smooth surfaces with a few minor flaws and a good lustre. I have strung them on silk: the traditional medium, and have knotted between each pearl, an old-fashioned technique that ensures a good drape and also security in the unlikely event that the silk breaks.\r\n\r\nI have finished the necklace with sterling silver findings: a tiny bead, French wire (gimp) and a trigger clasp.\r\n\r\nThe necklace is 47cms (18.5 ins) long.\r\n\r\nThe necklace will be sent wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and posted in a sturdy cardboard box for safe travel.\r\n\r\nWHEN YOU BUY THIS ITEM £5 WILL BE DONATED TO TOYBOX, A CHARITY HELPING STREET CHILDREN ACROSS THE GLOBE.
