The clay is then fired to create solid fine silver, before being polished to a high shine. I have oxidised it using liver of suphur to create a dark patina on the surface and polished the high points back to a beautiful shine, creating a lovely contrast that highlights the shape and fine details of the leaf.\r\n\r\nSilver clay is a pliable, clay-like material consisting of recycled fine silver particles mixed with water and a plant-based organic binder.
