Then a random patchwork of rainbow coloured glass. To finish it with a flourish a layer of clear textured precious dichroic glass to give an amazing shimmer.\r\n\r\nI've included one piece of clear backed dichroic to let the base colour showthrough. \r\nThe dichroic layer rather magically reflects or refracts different colours as they catch the light.  \r\n\r\nDichroic glass has to be the most perfect glass for a glass addict like myself. What I put into the kiln is never what comes out. I call it Magic.  \r\n\r\nNote the word Dichroic means showing different colours when viewed from different directions.\r\n\r\nThe cabachon is attached to a silver plated brooch pin back with E6000 strongest adhesive.\r\n\r\nMy brooches vary slightly in size but are all approximately 3 cm x 4cm. I make no promise of symmetry and they are not designed to be, they are handcut glass and glass has a mind of its own and once fusing the kiln that does its own thing too.\r\n\r\nI post them out in a little white gift box.\r\n \r\nThe brooches are all different by the rainbow arrangement and choice of dichroic topping but all are based on the same design idea and all are equally attractive.
