Whilst very pretty it was very time consuming to make and is unlikely to be repeated.\r\n\r\nA bookmark composed of lengths of yarn, felted to an eco felt background, and stitched to resemble woven cloth, trimmed by a tail of coordinating ribbons.\r\n\r\nYarn snippets were hand felted to an 'eco' felt (commercially produced from recycled bottles) background - blue yarn alternating with the other colours featured in the blanket. Rows of small running stitches in cotton threads were then worked down the bookmark,  Backstitching, in a fine blue thread, has securely anchored the 'weft threads' down each long edge of the bookmark. The bookmark is backed with felt. Ribbon tails complete the design.\r\n\r\n I have done my best to photogrpah this item accurately but monitor settings may cause variation in colour.\r\n\r\nLength of embroidered panel - 14 cm approx.\r\nTotal length - 20.5 cm approx.\r\n\r\nThis item will be sent by Second Class Post.
