Swinging gently below the Case is a handmade rectangular Pendulum Bob in ripple sycamore with an inlaid central ebony and sycamore square that gives a soothing presence in your room whilst the clock movement is silent.\r\n\r\nRipple or 'fiddleback' (seen on the back of violins) sycamore is harder to find than 'crown cut' or straight grained sycamore and has a beautiful 'tiger's eye' effect with the play of light on the timber.
