It is approximately 8 cm tall. \r\n\r\nIt makes a great decoration either with flowers in it or just on its own. It can also serve as a candle holder for a pillar candle. It is really stable on its flat base.\r\n\r\nIt is made from a hand-cut hexagon of white glass overlaid with a similarly shaped piece of clear glass. Flakes of coloured glass (confetti) are sprinkled on it in a random fashion before an initial session in the kiln which fuses everything together. A second visit to the kiln with the hexagon placed on a doughnut-shaped mould which is supported well above the kiln floor allows the glass to flow into this organic shape.
