The sides of the vessel are made from twelve individual staves of Pine, glued together, similar to how wooden barrels are coopered. The staves are then attached to a solid base and the vessel turned on a lathe. Once turned the tankard is burned, and brushed with a wire brush to remove the charred wood. The handle is also charred pine.  \r\n\r\nThe interior and exterior of the vessel has been finished with a food safe alcohol resistant finish. \r\nThe capacity of the vessel is 750ml.
