All handcut by me, decorated and then fused in my kiln.\r\n\r\nI'm useless with a paintbrush so if I want a picture I have to 'paint' it with glass. \r\n\r\nFor this one I created a completely abstract picture using a base layer of clear glass which I then covered with a mix of patchworked pieces of vibrantly coloured fusing glass.\r\nI've made the colours as vibrant as I possibly could and then added quite a lot of dichroic glass to give a luxurious shimmer.\r\n\r\nThen into the kiln where it was fused all together to very high temperatures before adding to a box frame so it can be displayed on the wall or free standing.\r\n\r\nI've framed this without the glass in the frame as it shows the picture much more clearly. \r\n\r\nMade from Bullseye glass, handcut, shaped, layered and decorated with a unique design.\r\nThe fused picture measures 12cm square and is fitted at the back of a box frame with a 15cm aperture, 19cm square frame, 3.5cm deep.\r\n\r\nThe frame can hang from a hook from the wall or will freestand with a little support.
