The cardigan has a cable border up the fronts and has a collar. The bands, ribs and collar are worked in a double rib and it fasten at the front with five blue buttons.\r\n\r\nThe yarn used is 75% superwash merino 25% nylon. It is hand dyed by Abstract Cat Crafts  in shades of blue, called passing ciirrus, and it is recommended that it be handwashed in cool water. \r\n\r\nHand dyed yarn is much more expensive than branded yarn, making the finished garment more expensive, but the colours have depth, are unique and beautiful quality.\r\n\r\nI used an older pattern for this cardigan and knit the 3-6 month old size.
