The fordite has a pattern of rings in mostly black, white and grey with sparkly teal and blue, the sparkly bands really catch the light (and the eye). The fordite measures approx 38mm across and 32mm deep, it is mounted with in a chain to give a length of 17 1/2 inches but it will sit like it is slightly shorter than that, there is an additional 2 inch extender. It would make a great gift for anyone who loves their cars or anything a bit unusual.\r\nNot come across fordite? Its layers of over spray paint that builds up in spray booths at car factories, the build up gets baked in the curing ovens in between each layer of paint giving a hard material that can be cut to show the many different colours in it. This particular material came from Jeep's factory in Toledo in 2019 and I cut and polish it myself. I have matched it to the paint charts and the blue is 'Ocean blue' whilst the teal is 'Bikini', there are bands of 'Firecracker' and 'Hellayella' just visible at the edges.
