These birds have transparent bodies and a decorated opaque wing. They look lovely in a window and make a wonderful gift.\r\n\r\nTo make this bird, I have hand cut 2 bird shapes and fused them overnight in my kiln. The next day, I have added a beak and an eye and a yellow opaque wing which I've decorated with a white enamel handpainted pattern. The bird then goes back into the kiln again to tack fuse the eye, beak and wing onto the body. This time, the kiln is set on a lower temperature so the wing, eye and beak are slightly proud from the glass, giving it a 3D effect. Body is transparent glass, wing, eye and beak are opaque yellow glass.\r\n\r\nComes ready to hang on a silver wire.\r\n\r\nItem comes securely packaged and wrapped in my signature turquoise tissue paper, sticker and string.
