It has come from a cut glass item, probably a bowl. The blue glass is a layer on top of white glass, with the blue cut away to make a pattern by revealing the white. The pendant is completely flat, and has a point cut into the blue at the lowest point, which suggests is was part of the flat base of the original item and that the base had the pattern of a star, like the one in photo 4. This is a pretty and very unusual pendant. \r\n\r\nThe pendant is 4 cm high, 2.2 cm wide and 1.5 mm thick. It comes on a 50 cm (approx. 20 inches) fine sterling silver trace chain. If you would prefer a different length chain please let us know what you would like.  \r\n\r\nOur jewellery is individually hand made in Chudleigh, Devon. We collect our materials ourselves, mainly from local beaches.  Each piece of glass is unique, so each piece of jewellery is unique.  We only use materials which have rounded edges, which is why we tumble pieces which have rough edges in sand (this continues the process begun by the waves) until they are smooth.\r\n\r\nThe pendant will be delivered by Royal Mail.
